Mary Pat Kerrigan

ASSOCIATE

Mary Pat Kerrigan, Esq. has worked exclusively in matrimonial law since beginning her legal career.  Prior to entering private practice, she was a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Mark T. Janeczko, J.S.C., a Family Part judge in Bergen County.

Mary Pat received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University of Maryland, where she majored in English Literature and minored in Secondary Education. It was during her student teaching experience during her senior year of college that she realized she wanted to switch gears from teaching to law in hopes of advocating for both children and adults in family law proceedings. Mary Pat earned her Juris Doctor degree from Elisabeth Haub Law School at Pace University. While in law school, she worked at boutique firms in Westchester and as a student attorney for the Child Advocacy Clinic, representing victims of child abuse and neglect and immigrant children. Mary Pat recognizes the challenges clients face during difficult times and is committed to advocating for their best interests with dedication and professionalism.

When she’s not in the office, you can catch her chasing her niece and nephews (they’re Irish twins!), playing tennis, and spending time with her friends and family.
